Vintage Dior body chain

    Hi There, new to the forum. I realize not a bag but vintage Dior nonetheless, was looking at this chain on eBay. Appears to be authentic and have not come across this length before. Priced at 525.00 Canadian. Any opinions on this piece?

        Personally, I don’t think someone will pay that much for costume jewelry. Even with the Christian Dior name, I believe real value should come from solid gold and genuine stones, not branding alone.

        As for authenticity, I can’t imagine anyone bothering to fake costume jewelry. Gold was affordable years ago, and if this were replicated, it would make more sense to produce it in gold rather than copy a non-precious piece.

            Fair point but I feel it is more than the Dior name. Although these are considered costume jewelry the quality is much higher than typical costume jewelry. The Henkel and Grosse jewellery is sought after for this reason
